OSG Bowl!

So you may not know this but I really love to bowl, I really do.  I am not very good, but I just think it is so fun!  So I decided to try and increase my followers while getting to bowl at the same time!  So I plan on doing some weekly give-aways via twitter.  All you have to do is follow OSGBowl and tweet what you think my score will be that week, but please only guess once per week.  The closet score wins a prize!  So get to some tweeting, and happy bowling!

Guy From Star Wars Celebration V

First of all Star Wars Celebration V (which I will explain later) was probably the coolest thing I have ever been to in my entire life!  I have a lot of footage and photos that I need to post, but since I am just working off my laptop I don’t have much video editing ability.  Once I get back to school I can start using my desktop again and really get some work done.  However, at one of the panels I went to “Models of the Empire” (which I will also explain more later) they had a Q&A at the end.  After the show the fan who asked the first question (which was a great question by the way, and probably the question I would have asked) came up to me and asked if I filmed his question.  Unfortunately, I forgot his name (sorry!) but I gave him my website so hopefully he will find this video to enjoy with all his friends!  Thanks for asking such a great question fellow Star Wars fan!

What’s to Come

So the more I make stop motion movies the more ideas I get, and the more ideas I get the more advanced the ideas get.  I soon discovered that Windows Movie Maker just isn’t going to cut it.  So I bought a bundle of Adobe’s Photoshop Elements 8 and Adobe’s Premiere Elements 8.  These are advanced photo and video editors which should allow me to making some high quality videos.  They should be arriving soon and I can’t wait to start using them.  The feature I am most eager about using is green screen!  If you are unfamiliar Green Screen is where you film a scene in front of a green background and then when editing you can add a different image or video behind you.  I am also going to try and put more pre work into my videos which should hopefully make the actually filming process better.  For my next movie I did a very rough draft, or a story board, for what my next video will look like along with the music that will accompany it.  This will help me know exactly what to film and how to edit it.  I don’t have a date when it will be finished because this will also be my first test with the new movie maker so it could be a while!  I hope this wets your appetite....

Only in Texas....

So on my Dad’s 50th Birthday (July 24) we decided to go to a rodeo since none of us had ever been.  We figured it would be a fun thing to do since we were in Texas.  Little did we expect to find something like this to happen.  Sorry for the shaky video but it was a mixture laughing hysterically and not knowing and not believing what was going on. So watch and enjoy because I think this is something that could only be from Texas.
